Description

The brain child of Skyler Jenkins, this kit allows a person, new to the coin ring craft, an inexpensive way to get started with the highest quality tools and see what they think.  A few more simple tools form your local hardware store and you can start ringing quarters, pennies and dimes.

Please check out Skyler’s in depth video on how to use the tools available here.  He is the master at this method 🙂

Tools included are .7 x .8 @ 17 degree die, .9 x 1.0 @ 17 degree die, stainless steel universal mandrel, and coin ring anvil.

Start with the highest quality tools first and build upon them as you see fit. if I were starting out, my next tool would be the 1.1 x 1.2 @ 17 degree die so that I can do half dollars. After that, the I might go for the 1.3 x 1.4 @ 17 degree and 1.5 x 1.6 @ 17 degree for silver dollars but I would start to consider getting a ring stretcher at this point. This will really boost you to the next level. Durston makes the best I believe but feel free to get what you can afford. That’s how I started.  The most important thing is to find your way to make rings. See what’s out there and what works for you. Try something new as well! Once you find your groove, it will be quite natural.
